The results are in from the CLAW2 event that took place Thursday, April 19th!!!  It was THE MOST entertainng event we have EVER been to!!!  The enthusiasm and humor from the wrestlers, emcee and especially the referree, Boss Moss was just OVER THE TOP!  CLAWstin, the Austin chapter of CLAW, raised $6,160 for Upside Of Down at their Arm Wrestling/Slapstick Comedy event!!!!  These funds will go toward sponsoring individuals with Down syndrome from lower income families to summer camp and go toward continuing Down syndrome research!!!

One of the things that they did was sell T-Shirts with the CLAWstin logo on it.  They bought shirts at Goodwill and then had their logo imprinted on them.  Check out this irony:  I grabbed a shirt for Jeffrey to wear and it happened to be a Down Home Ranch 'Ranch Camp 2007' shirt!!!!!!!!!!!  We've sent a lot of campers to Down Home Ranch in Elgin, TX, so that was so fitting!!!  There's a picture below!

CLAW is an outrageous theatrical spectacle where regular women arm-wrestle each other in character w/ costumes, theme music, and entourages. The result is a cross between a burlesque show, a barroom brawl, and pro wrestling. A hundred percent of net proceeds go to the selected charity!

  The opening match was between CLAWstin orgnaizing, Beth Taylor, and her Aunt Teresa, who happens to also have Down syndrome!  Teresa kicked some serious Beth butt!!!

The TOP FUNDRAISER and winner of our awesome trophy went to GINA TONIC.
She brought in over $800 for Upside Of Down!!
